Evaporating Illusions

PLEASE NOTE: The main text of this has been gathered together from other page attempts prior to today. It may appear quite repetitive and will need rewording. So much is unfolding in the world currently with understanding developing rapidly, so am waiting to see how I set this out sensibly. Bear with me - 20 Sept 2026.

Pre Sept 26: ... Heaven isn't a future destination, and Aquarius isn't simply an "age" unfolding along a straight line of time. It's better understood as a state of growing awareness, existing outside of and above time altogether — and we are already living inside it now, watching it unfold.

Eternity has no beginning and no end. It hasn't gone anywhere to be found somewhere else, and yet we speak constantly of "the future" as though it were a real place waiting for us. No one has ever lived there and come back to tell us about it — if they had, we'd already know how many children we'll have, their names, where they'll settle. The future doesn't arrive; it's an idea carried in the imagination, nothing more.

The past is a little different. It stretches back millions, even billions of years, and we can learn from its patterns and project forward with real confidence — Halley's Comet keeps its 75-year rhythm; the seasons keep theirs. But strictly speaking, no one lives in the past either, in the sense of being cut off from it. Those who have "gone on" are still here, in a dimension most of us don't often perceive because our minds are clouded to it. Some people do sense or even communicate with them, which gets mistaken for something like time-travel, when it's really just a thinner veil.

Over many centuries, humanity has drifted further from this deeper reality, until we've fallen out of step with the planetary and universal rhythms that once governed us — our circadian rhythm, our natural cycles of rest and work. That drifting-away is the old world; and it's that old world, not the Earth itself, which is now ending. A new understanding is taking its place.

This is what "Apocalypse" actually means — not destruction, but an unveiling, an exposing of what was hidden. It's freeing us from centuries of denominational doctrine, from the human hunger for power and riches, and from the tools — politics, warfare, commerce — that hunger has used to keep much of humanity bound.

Here's one place this already shows up, right here in New Zealand. There are tens of thousands of people scattered around the country who have lived full lives without ever drawing a wage from an employer — many have never had an employer at all, other than nature itself. On official forms they tick the "self-employed" box, but the truth is simpler: they're not employed by anyone. They work the land and the seasons as they come, and they're content. They know their ground and climate intimately — the right crops, the right stock, the coming weather — often better than any forecaster, and their produce and handiwork are abundant. Their sense of connection to the rest of living creation runs deep, because they know, from experience rather than theory, that they're made of the same life as everything around them.

Focusing on what's actually unfolding, rather than on old fears, is where the benefit lies. In this Aquarian age — reckoned to span roughly 2050 years, and we're only at its beginning — family order re-establishes itself as centralised political and denominational control recedes, and commerce shifts toward more local, less centrally managed food production. As our own understanding changes, we find ourselves looking at the very same subjects from an entirely different vantage point.

When the illusions finally drop away, what's left is simple: we find we're already content, already at peace, already home in ourselves. That place has been here all along — sometimes glimpsed in the quiet of early morning, sometimes found through meditation — waiting only to be noticed.

There is a vast array of topics to touch on with this page, so am working on that - on how to write of the illusion.
